What's your plans for the opener this weekend?  The wife has been begging me to take her out, so we'll probably try chasing down some crappies and prespawn bass if the weather cooperates.  Good luck to all!
Even if you've been fishing for three hours and haven't gotten anything except poison ivy and sunburn, you're still better off than the worm. - Author Unknown. Matt in Whitewater, WI.

We had some pretty tough conditions, but we didn't come home with a skunk. I had 8 pike and 2 smallies nothing huge, but a few of the pike were beginning to pack some weight about 24" my partner boated some as well. Water temps were 50 all day. Everything I caught was on a husky jerk except for one on a jig and pig. Had fun playing with my new gps unit too, man I'm gonna love that thing when it comes to my trips up by you. I had the 5 ft and less areas highlighted and I started scouting the lakes we fish up there and there's some bars and humps out there that we've never even touched. We'll be up there May 21-28.
