Hello my name is nathan im from south central NY i am new to the life member but not to the club i love this club and i had a few questions for all you lifers who have been a life member for a while i was wondering how long it takes to recieve your welcome kit and how do you like it do you get more opp than just a regular member? anyways i love to fish for everything from bull gils to musky i do it all i might be young but ik alot more than you might think well feel free to ask me anything looking forward to chatting with all of you!!!

welcome to the life sentence. Hey i think the perks are worth it. I am not sure how long it takes these days to get your gifts after you are all paid up but from what I can remeber with me it was within 30 days or so after full payment. I have got my moneys worth just with the mag not to mention the forum and friends.

Welcome Nathan to Life Membership,
I have been a life member sence 2007 and back then it took
about 30 days to get my pole with my name on it. For myself
I didn't get involved until about 6 months ago. Decided one day
to sit down and post on the forums etc. Also I filled out and
posted on my profile and posted on other members profiles.
If you want to make some friends you will have to do that. I have
made 3 friends that I email with several times a week with. If you find
some one you would like to communicate with ask them to be friends.
I also post on the forums if I think I have something to add.
I didn't think that Life Membership was worth it until I started useing it.
The mag is good and you will getsome other stuff, and you will be sent things
you may not want. DON'T OPEN THEM. Return them to sender other wise
you will be sent bills and get pissed. Just a word of advice. Enjoy your life membership

back when I joined as a lifer the fishing rod was a Shimano pack rod combo. still use it whenever I get the chance but I am kinda jelous of you guys getting the personalized rods. lowwater is right it is the members that make it so awesome.

Welcome to the forums. I'm on pace with the rest of the guys. My kit took about 30 days. My rod and reel came a couple weeks apart from each other. I think the reel came first, and the rod was delayed due to the personalization.
