Hey guys just some reporting on crappie fish at night. I was out fishing on the 6th of may and stayed over to night fish for crappie. Fish started hitting steadily from about 9pm to about 1am in the morning. I stop counting at about 75 but the fishes kept on hit on minnows and jigs. I kept 20 monsters average at about 2-21/2 lb. Well not exactly monsters but it was some good size. Under the bridges of about 15 feet of water

hello everone , we have gone too are local lake alot and have cought more bass then we have ever cought.. but we have not even landed a crappie at all !!!!! we have tried live minnows, worms, jigs,small crankbaits, under lights at night and in the morn, but still no crappie. we have even stayed out all night to get them with no luck, any help ????? thank you in add. JOHN

oh dude for me all the panfish/crappie seem to be hitting either small minnows, a gulp alive chartruese minnow suspended about 2-3ft is what i'm using, or a marabou jig with some orange hints in the feathers. if you're fishing in the morning then hey should be pretty active, otherwise during the heat of the day just stay around submerged cover and gravel bottoms and jig for a while.
