Too much complaining and BS posts. Time to get back to talking about fishing and stop wasting time with fancy animated graphics!

If you don't like it then don't read and post on it. Just stick to your own BS posts.

All the animation slows this already slow site down even more. As far as the BS, that is why so many members don't come around, they are skipping the posts

My point for this post was to try to get other people to post by adding continues, amusing posts. Just to see where everyone was. And as usual, I get a cranky old man every now and then who thinks they know everything but really doesn't... Oh well! There's one in every crowd!

I'm a life member and stopped coming on this site 3 years ago due to the constant changing they were doing , seems like they could not get the problems sorted out and just kept changing things . Also I live in the south and most of the content is meant for northern anglers. I tried several times to put together a Fl. chapter and had zero luck. I now find it difficult at best to navigate on this site .
There are many other reasons why i left , these are just a few .
I have met some good people on this club site many years ago and now stay in touch with them on FaceBook.
Y'all enjoy , Oh and If I were you don't bother with the life membership , its not really worth the money.Take that money and put it into an interest bearing money market fund.

Well I left because I am a trophy member and I couldnt even post pics. The forum is painfully slow and is obviously going down. Right now I am 1 of 2 members online. Out of a large bunch.
I hope the magazine keeps coming. I also see the trophy room Gone??. Maybe this winter it will pick up

I guess in the summer it's slower than usual on here because everyone is out participating in recreational activities.

My Mistake the tropyh room is still there. The Forum needs help. Right now out of a quarter million members there are 3 online.
There are steps that can be taken to speed up the forum. I suspect there is also a hosting or server issue also. Huge forums tend to have bugs and be a little slower but this is way beyond that. The database and all posts probably dont belong to the NAFC. That is common in forum land. The loss of posts and a lot of history would occur if the NAFC changed its Hosting or server.,
The advertising is also an issue. It will be hard to show an ad with a guarantee of 10,000 Impressions if there are only a few visitors daily. That means trouble. There are many things within the forum that could be removed to save space and make the forum faster. But I did get the magazine today and I am happy that it is still rolling to this point.
As a n experienced forum Admin//Advisor I would be willing to help the NAFC bring this forum back. I have a few ideas that are proven to work if used correctly.
So if the forum wants my help just let me know.

I have not had too many opportunities to fish this year. With work and lack of transportation and all. But what you said about how many members are online at one time, it shows on the bottom of the forums page who is online at a given time but that is not accurate because I have known for a fact that additional members were online yet it did not show their names listed there. Most likely another glitch.

OK so that is good. There is still the drive to get the forum back going. CAPTN are you willing you help get the forum back up and rolling ?

The forums would roll, as long as people don't get all offended everytime there's a difference in opinion, experience, personality, or known information. There's not just only one style of fishing. It's just called fishing.

That is the whole point of a forum! Differing views and engaging in discussion. However, there are a few members who think they are always right and it gets kind of old. One of them, who I will not name, always posts on MY topics and tries to contradict me every time it seems. Even though he is almost always full of hot air! I will try to devote more time to making quality posts CASMAN! It just hardly seems worth the effort when no one ever responds though!
