I have always been partial to dynamite. I did have a problem with the DNR, but I simply lit a stick and handed it to the officer and asked him if he wanted to talk or fish. |

When im guiding my go to is a williams whitefish, the biggest one you can get. 7 inch hollow belly swimbaits or a black and blue jig and pork usually produce pretty good for me too. |

I like to use down deep Husky Jerks, DT16, Deep tail dancers, spoons and jigs. But I will say that Rod Tosser does very well with chartruse spinnerbaits! |

Just fell in love with my Mepps. the #4 dressed worked great.couldn't find a #5 dressed. caught my record pike on the #4 my first ever Walleye and even a 14.5 lpd flathead. 1/4 oz chrome castmasters! Lazy ike. Mepps syclops. My dad likes the little crappie spinners for some reason but they work for him. |

My best performing bait has been a 1/16 oz, chartruse colored jig with a 2" twin-tailed twisty! I just hammered them at Champlain and the Gwinn meet! |

wow that is really weird you said that, I used to throw that exact combination too for pike and would catch at least 1 every morning. it was chartrues double twister tail grub and I added a spinner to it and they seemed to love it, casted it right along the weed beds. |

Yep! Nothing I've used since has worked as good (I used a white one). But I am having success with deep down husky jerk and the spoonbill minnow also! |

No stumble about it! Between you, me and Sue we can do some damage where the pike are concerned! I have some custom colors for DT16s including all white...I plan to be at the finger lakes meet for the entire week this year. I also plan to hook-up with Erabbit a few times this spring and summer! I sure hope we can get together this year...Tom said the same thing...getting together! |

I sure hope that things are better than last year. This area still hasn't recovered from Hurricane Irene. It will be years before things are back to normal. I sure hope to make the meets this year. I look forward to fishing and seeing you, Ed, and Tom. |

For those of you that are wondering if we just happen to be neighbors or something, this is an example of what happens when members get together at member meets. Erabbit (Ed) is from NE Pa, I am from SE Pa, Wellsley (Frank) is from upstate NY and canepole (Tom) is from Wisconsin. We try to get together as often as our family budgets & plans will allow! And this is happening in several areas of the country. So do yourselves a favor and try to attend a member meet somewhere near you! |

Yes, I am a life member. The patch that was on my hat was ordered a few years ago....The year of that particular meet, it was a special order. |
