I love Zoom lizards. I use 4" and 6" I either tx rig them with the lightest weight i can get away with and sometimes adding glass beads between the weight and hook or carolina rig them. For tx rig I like to use a 1/0 or 2/0 EWG hook. Sometimes i rig it weightless, sometimes I add a heavy bullet weight and pin it with a toothpick to punch it through the weeds. Fish it with your rod tip up and drop your rod parallel with the water and then lift it back up every couple cranks to create a swimming motion with the lizard. They usually hit it on the fall. For Carolilna rig, just drag it slowly on the bottom and let the llizard do his thing. I use lighter colors in clear water, dark colors in stained. I also drop shot the 4" with pretty good results for large and smallmouth on a size 2 drop shot hook through the "nose"

Everything that Zoom makes is top of the line.  I especially like lizards right after females have laid their eggs.  Lizards make a harvest time on those eggs and if put a Zoom plastic one in the bed they will literally attack it.  I prefer JuneBug along with the watermelon colors.  Once you find the color hold on.  Uncle Tom
I built my own lure company as a young man--thus the name UncleTomsJigs. It grew so well I decided to give it up and go fishing with family, friends and especially grand children. I became disabled as a United Methodist Pastor IN 2002 and retired here in Coastal Georgia on a 10 acre lake where I continue to fish despite my disabilities. My wonderful wife and I enjoy fishing together. God has blessed us in so many ways and we pray the same for you. I am excited about having so many new friends all over this great country.

Not a problem. I always have a rod rigged with a soft plastic and there are so many ways to do it. Worms, lizards, creatures, brush hawgs, tubes, grubs.....texas, carolina, wacky, drop shot, on a jig head, the possibilities are endless! lol I also really like the Bass Pro Tournament Floating lizards. I swim them weightless and get some pretty good topwater action in the summer shallows. Good luck this weekend. I don't know how Lake Fork looks on Memorial weekend, but if its anything like here, watch out for jetskiers!!
