interesting because i know exactly what he is referencing.
you click on my page and it shows everyone's status updates any thing some one posts it is like going to community and hitting all items .
I thought my page was suppose to show only things posted on my page not every thing other post on there page or some one else s..

you can try sending web guy Greg a screen shot or a pdf file of what you are referencing .

    WOW!!!

50 pages of stuff on mine...going all the way back to November

No WONDER the Forums are slow....because the software is writing all that to EVERYONE'S pages

And I do NOT see any way to shut it off or remove items

I bet if everyone checked this out...especially if you are part of any groups...you'll freak out

I see a new contest coming here Greg!  The one with the most pages at midnight on the last day of the month gets Site Admin rights for a week.  I got 56 pages so far!

    Good morning everyone,
Sure glad I was not the only one that was dealing with this nonsence. Maybe the web guy can figure out a way for us to delete all of the unwanted posts.
I would do that and mark them as SPAM. Like on FB. Lets all go fishing. Keep your rod tip up and and a tight line. Have a good day all.

GOOD GRIEF, THAT WAS TAKEN CARE OF FAST, THE WEB GUY IS ON THE JOB. I just went to my Social Profile and it is fixed. Also there is an red X at the upper right side of each post so that you can delete a post. The only posts that appear now are the ones that pertain to me. THANKS WEB GUY.

A little information that may help with the diagnostics...

My Page - Activity tab contains 65 pages (am I winning the new contest?)
My Profile - Activity tab contains 1 page with a little X box to delete items.

I think -- I hope! -- I've got this issue solved of the pages upon pages of status reports:

    1. Click "My Page" under the "My NAFC" tab/button on the FishingClub.com homepage
    2. Click "My Settings," located at the upper right-hand side of your personal page (directly to the right of "Edit Profile" and "My Account"
    3. Under the heading "Profile Preferences" in the box the opens, click "Journal Features" -- it's the second choise in the menu
    4. In the next box that opens, "Status" will be the first menu choice -- the drop-down box directly to the right of the word "Status" is default-set to "Everyone," which is why you are seeing so many updates from so many people. You can drag down on the down-arrow to the right of the word "Everyone" to choose a more-limiting setting. You have three addtional choices:
    -- Only Me
    -- Friends
    -- Disable

If you choose "Only Me," only your activity on the site will be announced with update posts

If you choose "Friends," you and everyone who views your page will see updates about you and your friends' activity on the site
    5. You can then update your settings in the same, exact manner for "Share Link" "Note" "Add Photos" "Upload File" "Import RSS" and "Add Comments"

Let me know if this works for y'all. I took these steps and documented each step to write this, and it worked for me.

I'm at 65 at the moment

I've changed the top Journal Features / Status to Disabled....so I'll see if that makes a difference.

I still don't see any way to remove items on "My Page" though
