Thanks for the response. Got back sunday afternoon. We did pretty well. Camped out of Cedar Pt. State Park and worked the shore line on that side of the river in both directions. My buddy caught two ugly bowfin in Rose Bay. We got into some decent smallmouth by Linda Island. Flynn Bay had alot of action, smallmouth, largemouth, pike/pickerel. Rock bass were every where and we got into some decent perch here and there. Another friend landed a 36-40" pike in a bay just east of Flynn, same island. He got excited catching it and getting his pic taken, forgot to measure. Overall a good trip. Fish were all hitting jigs with grubs, x-raps, clackin minnows and cranks, lipless cranks, mepps. |
