I looking to get a new rod.  I was looking to get feed back on the St.Croix mojo bass rod. I plan on getting a 7 ft med action. I am going to use it for texas rigged worms with a light bullet sinker.
I already have a Bass Pro Shops Carbon lite that I use for the same style of fishing. I like the Carbon lite, but was wondering if anyone  who has used the mojo bass think it is a better rod. If anyone can help with some advice and insight on which rod they think is better please help.
I plan on using a Johnny Morris Signature series spinning reel with the mojo bass rod. Thanks for any help you can offer.

I have 15 St Croix rods 2 of which are Mojo Bass spinnerbait rods, and one dropshot rod. IMO they are the best rods for the money. I know that St Croix makes a plastics Mojo Bass rod but it is a baitcasting rod, I'm not to sure about the spinning rods. The only 7' med action Mojo Bass spinning rod it the tube and grub series which should work for what your going to be using it for, however I would reccomend the 7' MH Power spin rod. Good luck.

    Bass Bandit,
I looked at the BPS website and could not find a St. Croix with the name power spin. Did you mean the Avid or Premier line? Also, how do you think the Shimano Compre or BPS Carbon lite compare to the St. croix's. Thank for your input.

Yeah BPS doesn't show the names of the rods. I was lookingin the St Croix Rod catalog I have. this may help yu out. MBS70MHF is the number for the power spin. MBS70MF is the # for the tubes/grubs rod.
To be truthful I only use St Croix Rods so I can't compare the Compre or the Carbon Lite. Sorry

We have a couple of the MBS70MF MoJo rods and love their performance. They load up nice when fighting the fish and have a great tip for launching out the lure where you want it. Also for the money and the replacement guarantee, the St Croix is a pretty good deal.
