When fishing docks, piers, or marinas especially on pressured lakes and rivers, I always watch out for spiderwebs under the docks. They can be an indication of how productive the area might be. If you see spiderwebs, it means that nobody's fished that area. If they had, their bait would have knocked down the webs, so the fish may be more aggressive in taking your presentation....Happy Fishing |

Good advice! |

One time, when I was fishing on a bridge, I spotted a small wasp nest hanging off one of the planks. Out of curiosity, I hit it with my fishing pole and it fell in the water. As soon as it hit the water, the fish went crazy. Tons of Bluegill started dashing around frantically to try and eat the drowning wasps, including a very large Pumpkinseed Sunfish, which I ended up catching later in the day. In a lot of situations, observing what is going on around you can be very beneficial. |

Very Good Advice THANKS! I think alot of Bug lures next to docks would be good since things like Crickets and Beetles get caught in webs all the time |
