How much is this worth

    IDK if this is worth anything at all but i found an old baitcast reel in my basement. Only thing I can see on it is a Pfueger Akron 1895. Anyone know how much its worth?

    Are you sure the date wasn't 1985?  I don't think they manufactured baitcasters back in the 1800's.

    Actually...the 1st (although crude) baitcasters were made and patented by the Meeks brothers 1835-1840...and were called Kentucky Reels
