When my friend gave me one for my b-day, I couldn't help but laugh.  After all, it looks a lot like a novelty lure.  About a week later I tried it out at a local pond and it worked great!  I caught a lot really plump Bluegill off of it, as well as a few small bass.  It is now my second favorite panfish bait and I use it quite often.  It doesn't seem to hook as many fish as my "number one" panfish bait, but the fish it does catch seem to be considerably larger.  This is probably due to it's slightly larger hooks.

Has anyone else used the Bumble Bug?  If so, what have you caught with it?

I have a few of those in my tackle box, as well.

I like my helgrammite and inch worm crawler imitation lures.
