Anyone ever caught on of these? You want a fight, these things will give it to you... Never been so tired in my life, couldn't move my arms for a couple of days. Dam thing broke 50 spider like it was sewing thread...... a friend on the trip managed to snap this from the railing...... using a big black saltwater bucktail jig

charper1, I think you left something out, a pic or a description of the fish, or what ever it was!  Sound like you may have caught a submarine?

Sorry Paul! I took it for granted that fellow fishermen would recognize this as a sword fish. I tried to play him to the boat, but after about 2 hours, he got tired of it and snapped the line. After that, when I go offshore I use nothing less than 100 pound test.....

Nice catch!!....It looks more like an Atlantic Blue Marlin from the pic...not a Sword Fish...just my opinion from looking at the pic...Swords and Marlins are in the "Billfish Family"

It was in the Atlantic, off the Keys... remember, I mentioned that it broke my 50 lb spiderwire like it was sewing thread. But thanks for the correction....never got it closer to the boat than that picture shows....

I give up! what picture?  You playing the gas-light game here?  Oh OK, now I see it, must have something to do with my PC at work, or the fire wall I'm behind.    Never Mind!
