Recently I was sent a test product. Like others on here I lost the form (moved from CA to WI). I read on here that you can call and get another, but maybe it would be possible for the club to have online reviews of the products that we try. Allow us to satisfy the review and at the same time, allow other members to view it, real time. In the meantime I will have to call and get a form sent to me. |

I second qdukes motion I also recently lost the form. I'd like to blame it on the wife, but she did warn me to clean off the island |

You might want to run that idea by Steve Pennaz. Maybe he'll go for it. |

good idea. I have never received test forms from the club in the past and have had to call or email the club to get one. This would be a good idea to help simplify the process. |

Me too, great idea. I think there used to be an online report link, but I haven't been able to get there in a long time. |

I have received 2 field test items in the past three years and neither of them came with a form. Both were accompanied by an email informing me that the product was coming and containing a link to an online review form. First time around I inadvertently deleted the link and an email to member services got me a replacement link in no time. I fail to see why this is such a big issue! |

Pegsguy, Its not a big deal, just a suggestion. Unlike you, I did not receive an email with a link. I received a card to mail back to the club after I filled it out. Reading through posts by others, I noticed that it had been a problem for them too. I found out I could call the club to get a new card, because I did find these other posts. I have also read that the club will not send further test products to members who do not complete the forms, I myself would not enjoy being placed in the non tester category! |

TO qdule, THAT IS A REALLY GREAT IDEA. I FEEL THE SAME WAY YOU DOAND THINK THAT A ONLINE REPLY FOR PRODUCT TESTING RESULTS WILL NOT ONLY SPEED UP THE REPLIES, BUT THE CLUB CAN ALSO READ THE REVIEWS FIRST HAND. NOT THROUGH THE SNAIL MAIL, BUT AS YOU SAID IN REAL TIME .
TO THE NAFC, THIS IS A REALLY GREAT IDEA THAT qduke has proposed, PLEASE CONSIDER IT.

P.S. MAKE A DIFFERANCE, TAKE A CHILD FISHING AND TEACH THEM PATIENCE. THEY WILL BE BETTER ADULTS FOR IT WHEN THEY GET OLDER, AND THEY WILL NEVER FORGET THE ENJOYMENT YOU INTRODUCED THEM TO. |

pegsguy and qduke. I can confirm that the club was prompt in sending a replacement form. the last two tests I have done were not accompanied by a form. Also back before they sent forms VIA email I received an item that I was not aware was a test and I just thought it was a freebee. I can also confirm that the club will suspend test privelages if a test form is not filled out and submitted from this experience. I was not able to test product for a while. Of course this did not affect my interest in the club as I was getting my moneys worth from all the other stuff the club had to offer. I feel that anything the club can do to streamline the testing program will go a long way towards improving its value to members and the kind folks who submit product for testing Brian |

Sounds like there are some real issues with consistency in this program! I can only speak from personal experience and I have always been able to report online. I did notice that the last report I submitted did not go to an address I recognize as being a club address. Yes, failing to submit a report will disqualify you from product testing. Also, after you report, you must re-register to remain in the program. |

I hope those people that direct our club can really take these notes seriously. As a Trophy Member it is hard to understand that NAFC can send you a a envelope with 4 or 5 hooks in it and expect you to evaluate them. My priority in my love for fishing is bass fishing but I haven't received anything worth evaluating. The hooks aren't big enough to bass fish with. I enjoy playing the game but everyone ought to have the same opportunities. Instead of sending out so much junk and other items for sale maybe the club could explain how the whole system works. Disappointed!!! Uncle Tom |

| I built my own lure company as a young man--thus the name UncleTomsJigs. It grew so well I decided to give it up and go fishing with family, friends and especially grand children. I became disabled as a United Methodist Pastor IN 2002 and retired here in Coastal Georgia on a 10 acre lake where I continue to fish despite my disabilities. My wonderful wife and I enjoy fishing together. God has blessed us in so many ways and we pray the same for you. I am excited about having so many new friends all over this great country. |

I wonder if there is a way to find out if you have been "Blackballed", I know I am "registered" for test products and have had a couple. I also see from replies that it might be pretty easy to make an error and miss getting your report back in a timely fashion. I had to request another form once as I had lost the original, did recieve it quickly. |

I was told by member services that there was no deadline for submitting a product report. This was in response to the second test item I received after the water around home had frozen for the year! |

I also filled out an online review. It was a pretty smooth process, to bad it isn't working out like it had before. |

There is a small item in the latest magazine about some new feature coming for the field test program, but I haven't seen anything yet. |
