So i was walking and i came across a pond about 30 yds by 20 yds. Its stained water and pobably gets to about 3-4 feet deep in the middle. And also thers alot of gunky grass. So me and my buddy go in there and are not catching anyhing but there is a ton of what looked like 3-4 pond largemouths. We tried everything crankbaits, spinners, jigs, rubber worms. But then we found a tanish pink rubber worm and i tried it out. what do u know I oled in a 17 inch-5lb largemouth. I later snagged tht worm. I went back 2 or 3 times and tried other types of worms. My question is what type of bait and what colors should use. I am going to try those pinkish-tan worms again but any othere suggestions/tips??
    thanks,
                 Dean

Try throwing a white pearl Zoom super fluke or a bubblegum Super fluke. Sometimes those oddball colors just seem to get a bite !!!

That worm you were using sounds like a Berkley Power Nightcrawler. They come in a color called NATURAL, and it is kind of tanish pink.
Ashes to ashes, dust to dust, if it wasn't for my super smooth carbon drag, my 30 year old Trilene would bust!
