Current river and jack fork river HELP!?

    Im fishing and floating the current river and jack fork river tomorrow and ive caught tons of pumpkin seed on minnows in the rivers but does anyone have any tips on how to catch bigger pumpkin seed or other fish in the rivers?

    From what I can tell...both rivers seem to be fairly small in size. AND subject to rapid water level changes, with high water meaning a drastic increase in current, which most panfish tend to stay away from.

    IMHO...both conditions will limit not only the # of them...but also size structure of the population.

    Fishing pressure is also a factor, as a small river has a limited # of spots to survive in versus lakes...even against larger predators.
