I UNDERSTAND THAT YOU CANNOT USE BRAID ON A ROD W/ CERAMIC EYELETS,  WHICH TYPES OF EYELETS CAN BE USED?  JUST BOUGHT A ROD THAT SAID IT HAS ALUMINUM OXIDE EYELETS. IS THAT OK OR DO THEY MAKE THEM WITH HARDER METAL?

I have used braid on all of my rods, even those with ceramic guides and never had a problem but have heard about some braids wearing a groove in some eyelet material. I would think that aluminum oxide would be more wear resistant than ceramic. Nickle tungsten is another good choice but very pricey.

Yes, aluminum oxide should work fine.
