    Sorry I put that catfish topic in the wrong section im really sorry but my question is pretty much the exact same but about trout instead of catfish and on lake taneycomo please help im not sure what to use for trout in late july heat i need help thanks you

    if they are stocked they should hit almost anything. You could try worms, crayfish (small), powerbait (yellow), wax or meal worms, maybe even give minns a shot. Look for shady places and places were they can hide same with the catfish. they do not like the full sun and ur fishing in a lake so the deepest part of the lake should hold fish. catfish should bite bluegills or cut fish.

    What about some Artivicial lures for trout? What would work how to fish them and what colors?

    I fished lake taneycomo last year in late june and did really well.If your a fly fisherman check with the fly shops in and around Branson to find out whats working when you're there.I fished the trophy area and other parts of the lake with the same results. I used a lure that is distributed by a company here in colorado called the hd trout.Its a 2" rapala like lure with a few differances.I have found it to be killer on stocked and wild trout.You can look at them at dynamiclures.com. Good luck and have a great time in Branson.
