Ok, I was just wondering if anybody else has yet to receive the fishing rod after paying the Life member dues and Trophy life member dues in full.  I have contacted the club and they were very nice and said they would ship another one to me.  I still have yet to receive a rod.  I know alot of people say they are not good quality but I dont really want it to fish with.  I want it because it is supposed to have my name on it and I think it would look cool with the collection of fishing stuff I have.

I love the club and this is my only complaint, if there is a problem and they are on back order thats fine just tell me.  I just dont want to be told its being shipped and it never arrive.

If anybody else has had this problem and got it resolved, I would appreciate any advice.

    Thanks,
    Kevin

The club is usually pretty slow about shipping stuff out. I would just be patient it will come eventually! A watched pot never boils ya know!

I got mine this past winter, right after I had paid my dues in full. Your right on the rod not really being a good quality rod. I did however take it the lake and did catch a few bass with it. It is nice having your name on a rod. Just be patient, it will come. The rods are probably on back order. Who knows how many new members signed up with all of the Facebook advertising?

I am trying to be patient lol, just figured that since I paid off the Life Member dues in Feb or March that it would have arrived by now. Even being slow thats quite a few months to wait for a rod. I will sit back and wait a while longer I guess.

Unbelievable! You've been Paid and waiting since February? That's ridiculous, I received my rod in about two weeks after full payment. As far as quality, it's a nice little rod. Shimano was never one of my favorite brands, but since fishing with this one I'm a fan. I have $200 and $300 outfits that don't fish any better! And yes, your name on it is cool. When people see it they think it's really special( I don't tell them half a million others have one too).
Ashes to ashes, dust to dust, if it wasn't for my super smooth carbon drag, my 30 year old Trilene would bust!

I have also been waiting for my rod since May, I called a few times and was told it was on its way.  I called last week and found out the rods were on back order so I guess we just have to wait and see.  I was also told that I should get mine by the end of September so if they are in the same batch with any luck we should get them by the end of the month.

    Hey Everyone,

I just wanted to pop in and give you an update on the life member rods. They have been on back order and are scheduled to resume shipping next week so I apologize for the delay. If you have any further questions please feel free to send me a PM at namgwebby. I apologize for the inconvenience.

    Thank you,

Thanks for the update Shawn, just wish the customer service people would be up front about it when we call. As they say, honesty is the best policy. I dont mind waiting if I know its on back order. Just hate being told it was on the way when it wasnt.

    Thanks again,
    Kevin
