Since nothing i have tried is catching bass im going to try some new stuff and i have some questions.

    Wacky fishing?

With wacky fishing do you drop it straight down and just pop it every couple seconds or do you cast it?

    Second thing....

    Drop Shot fishing?

Same thing im pretty sure you just drop it down right and do you use live bait or soft plastics?

RR most of my wacky style fishing is with sinkeo's I usually cast them, let em sink and just give a few jerks let it set and repeat.
Dropshoting can be fished the same way but is better when vetrtical fished. In my state live bait is not allowed so all I use is soft plastics.

Vertical means that if you are fishing from a boat, you just drop it straight down in to the water instead of casting it out.
I swear, it was this big (---------------------------------------)

In stained or murky water I would use dark colors. Drop shotting is more an idea than a specific weight or bait. Weight on the bottom, hook tied up the line from the weight. You can use light weight and small baits, heavier weights with larger baits, artificial or live, there are many different combinations. Try a few and see what you like. Depending on the depth I use a lot of different weights. I usually us a #2 gamakatsu drop shot hook and 4 in. artificial baits in different brands and colors.
Good things come to those who bait... Hoss in Wa

With those wackyworms, most times, the less you do the better. Just cast it out there(weightless) and let it slowly sink to the bottom. Quality worms like Senkos and Dingers will wiggle and twitch on the way down, and this drives bass crazy! If it hits bottom with no strike, rip it up a few feet and let it sink again. Good luck!SmileyCentral.com
Ashes to ashes, dust to dust, if it wasn't for my super smooth carbon drag, my 30 year old Trilene would bust!

I been having decent luck with ZOOM deadringer 4" worms in pumpkinseed and junebug. I cast them out though, and kinda just bounce him a little while keeping the line tight so the worm stays at whatever depth I'm fishing and repeat. It takes a lot of practice to keep your bait from going on to the bottom though, not so much in perfect conditions but in high winds, waves and/or currents. However, the results are worth it, IMO.
