I have a Daiwa Pro Caster rod which I like very much. However, the other day while fishing in the rain I noticed I was getting real bad black marking on my clothing from the rubberized rod butt.
Anybody else experience this? Any solutions? It seems it only occurs when it gets wet. Maybe a coating of epoxy to seal it.
