COLLEGE PROJECT NEED HELP ASAP

    Hello all,

    I am doing a college paper on a group of people. I choose to write about fishermen. These are not the usually questions on NAFC, they are actually kind of weird to me, but its 15% of my semester grade so I have to do it.

    I would really appreciate it if some of you could help me out and answer the questions below.

    1. How you as an angler view people who are not anglers?
    2. Where do you as fishermen meet other fishermen? Is there a meeting place (bass clubs), or just go fishing and meet people?
    3. What beliefs about fishing do you have?
    4. Do you have any fishing rituals?
    5. What is do you think is the most important tool in fishing?

    Im only 14 but i consider my self a fishermen..


    1. How you as an angler view people who are not anglers? i View them as normal people that dont have as much fun as we do
    2. Where do you as fishermen meet other fishermen? Is there a meeting place (bass clubs), or just go fishing and meet people? I meet people on here, When im fishing, Through my friends ETC.
    3. What beliefs about fishing do you have? i dont quite understand but i think fishing does not hurt the fish and for people who complain that we hurt the fish and eat them they were on the earth for a reason
    4. Do you have any fishing rituals? Yes i pray before i go fishing each time i do
    5. What is do you think is the most important tool in fishing? Either a fishingpole or your body

    It is nice to hear that you pray before fishing. When I fish, I pray as well. When I catch fish, I tell the good LORD, "Glory to you". God gave me the tools and mind to fish. Therefore, I give Him credit every time. You cannot forget your roots.

    1) I view non-fisherman types as regular people with other hobbies and interests.
    2) I fish with the same people I always have fished with since childhood. Now I take my family fishing sometimes as well.
    3) There is nothing better than fishing for "getting away" or clearing your head and just soaking up the outdoors, even if your not catching much, still awesome.
    4) I always smoke a cigar when I get done fishing. Don't ask me why or where I got that from, I'm not a cigar smoker so, go figure???
    5) Patience and Finesse.

    1. people with other interests and hobbies, therefore fewer fishermen for me to deal with.
    2. My regular partners were work associates. Another I met on a fishing web site. Another is a tow truck driver who towed me when I broke down.
    3. It is my pressure relief valve. Even when I catch nothing being out on the lake recharges me.
    4. I too pray after launching my boat. I also skip a coin into the water as a  token to "the fish gods".
    5. Knowledge about fish habits and habitat. The best gear and equipment in the world is worthless without this basic knowledge.
