Today,
I received this email. It says "I have been selected to test a
product." Yet, this "product" appears to be nothing more than a brief
subscription to some website for four weeks! Is this what I signed up
for as a product tester!? Outrageous! I wanted something tangible!
Something I could use on the water while fishing! Not access to some
lousy website I will never use! Has anyone else received an email
similar to this? Oh, and thanks for screwing me over on my product
N.A.F.C.!

Yea I got it too. I'm giving it my best but have not been impressed. I don't fish most of the lakes that hot spots has any info on. So I give it a thumbs down. |

I got the same "product" to test and I am very disappointed. I created an account and tried to find the closest freshwater pond or lake with a review or any info and the closest one is about half a day away. It just kinda looks like a facebook ripoff for fishermen. I'm with wellsley, this one is a loser. |

Last time I looked at the Fishing Hot Spots website, they didn't even have maps for Washington lakes. I emailed them and they responded with they may get to it in the future. If they're going to have us test these products, they should offer it to people that can use it. I guess I could pull my boat down to California... |

It sounds like they are trying to screw people over. Join the club, and get a great test product! Oh, wait. It's just a lousy subscription to a stupid, worthless website. That is a very deceptive tactic. I assumed I would actually get a product I could hold in my hands. And to set the record straight, I have always stood up for this sight and this club. I am not one of these "complainers." But this really makes me mad. After a year of being a member, this is all I get as a "test product?" |

That's similar to what I received. I got free online classes to become a fishing guide. I'm sure someone would be interested in this but I'm a little past it...I told them I wasn't interested. And to think they could have sent a bag of plastic worms and I would be HAPPY! |

Been a member for just over two years. Imagine my excitement when I saw the e-mail heading: You've Been Selected to Test a Product. Hooray!!! Finally!!! Only to find out it's this crap. How can this be considered a product? Probably going to let my subscription expire. I was patient and never complained until now. What a slap in the face. |

Ha I haven't tested a product for years, although when I did, they were pretty good. Except I got a little knife. Super sharp, but it was not a filet knife or really anything like that. I got this email too and was surprised that I rec'd anything. It makes me wonder if the NAFC really knew what was going on, doesn't this compete with this site? |

You readin' this stuff NAFC? Has ANYONE who received this "test product" been happy with it? From the beginning, when you first join the club, the product test program is touted as "test the product, report on it, and KEEP it for FREE." Now how are we supposed to keep a 4 week trial to a website? I said earlier I would have been happier with a pack of plastic worms...it sounds like I'm not alone! |

I got this e-mail. I also got one for an attachment to put on your motor- can't remember what it was called. I wasn't able to answer the questions they asked; make, size etc. of motor. When I responded to the e-mail to find out why/ what should I do now, NOTHING. I haven't received anything from them. Sounds fishy, and not in a GOOD way! |
