Try swivel w/snelled#4 hook and use 1/3rd of a crawler (hooked thru cut out side/bury hook point in other end) has a slow natural fall. Using this method i caught a 17" 2&3/4#er and a 14&1/2" almost 2#. plus a ton of perch & sun fish family.
