    My season is closed for another 4.5 months.

    I am going in to winter mode soon.

    A snow blower purchase is my near future.

    I feel sorry for those that live in states with a closed season. Here in Illinois we don't have a statewide closed season, just a few 'site specific' closures that are of limited duration and a few areas where it is catch and release only for a short period, usually during the spawn in areas where a population is struggling.

    Same here in Ohio... if we wanna go fishin' we don't have to check the calendar!

    cant you still fish in closed season states as long as you throw them back? as for me, i cant wait to do same winter stream trout fishing.
