To all the Members reading / thinking about joining us at the 2012 LC Get Together . We would like to extend an open invite to you and your family to join us July 25 to 29 2012 at Goose Island Campground by La Crosse Wisconsin . If you love to fish as much as we do then you owe it to yourself to come on down and join in the fun. The waters surrounding Goose Island offer one of the greatest multispecies fishery you ever want to fish (Bluegill, Crappie, Large & Smallmouth Bass, White Bass, Sauger, Northern Pike, Walleye, Perch and Cat Fish.) there's something for everyone young and old. Make your reservations today and join in the fun ! Take Care and God Bless |

You can buy the non-res online at the Wisconsin DNR website or stop at the ACE hardware in town and get it. The Ace also has a good assortment of fishing & camping gear. |

I will be in Iowa around the time of the meet. Can anyone tell me how far it is from Story City Iowa to the site of the meet? Not sure if I can manage it, but if it's close enough, I'm sure going to try. Thanks. |

From Story City, Iowa, take I-35 North to Albert Lea, Minn, [Not sure what the mileage is] From Albert Lea, MInn. go East on I-90 to Wisconsin. It is roughly 125-130 miles to LA Crosse, WI. Add the miles from Story City Iowa to Abert Lea MINN. / then East I-90 another [130] to that. / Then maybe ten miles to Goose Island from I-90 at La Crosse. |

Thank you. It might take a bunch of sweet talking to my wife and her family, but I doubt I'll be that close again. Some of her family likes to fish, so it might not be too much of a fight. I will keep everyone posted. What species do you all catch up there?(during that season) I'll keep checking back. Thanks. |
