I looked in my email and i saw a email telling me about all this stuff that comes with Throphy Life membership -.-...
I just paid like $200 and now your telling me that there something better and its $120.
Same thing when i open my books or magazines or field testing, I get these piceses of paper syaing upgrade today and im sort of getting tired of it.
Whats after trophy Life member? And is there anything after that? |

Right now, Trophy Life membership is the top tier. Then once they sell a bunch of those...we'll most likely see another. You know all the fuss everyone makes about field testing? Why don't they come out with a "Field Test Specialist" package. Charge us a couple hundred bucks and send a trinket a month. And, by the way '151, that $120 is in addition to whatever you've already paid. If you decide it wasn't worth it, they'll give you a 100% refund within the first year. Unless you'll use navionics charts, don't waste your time.

i dident plan on buying it, You know whats funny when i look on the field testing spot were you fill it out, It shows like a boat motor, Sunglasses, Reel;s, Rods ETC. How much do we have to pay for that? Donate 1000$ to the club? |

I became a trophy member a few months ago, really I don't know why...lol but I do have to say the Navionics download was to me worth it. I'm able to sit at home and look at a highly detailed chart of my fishing grounds and plan my attack on my laptop. I can create routes, waypoints and save them to a SD card then transfer it to my Lowrance HDS. Its a really good tool, and that download alone is worth 100 or so...they also sent me a cheap pair of fishing pliers...so ultimately, it's up to you if you want to upgrade your membership. I choose the monthly payment plan. 20 dollars amonth for 6 months isn't that bad. |

They send me that stuff every year. Its a waste of money. Basic membership is just as good. Being a life memmber or trophy member wont make you a better fisherman. |

I've only been a life member since February '11 and I've already received more than the initial investment in free gifts, perks and such...not to mention a life time of the magazine! I haven't even received any "field test" products yet, so there's more icing on the cake, if they come. Why would you want to just pay for the magazine year after year? Over the long haul, life membership is the only way to go. |

Agreed Mo...I've been lucky enough to receive 2 field test products..Schrade Old Timer fillet knife, and a pair of fishing pliers. I was also selected to receive a rod holder outfit, thats gets mounted on a ATV...but I turned it down because I dont have/own an ATV. So with those 2 items plus the Navionics download, the My Topo Pass...(free pass to mapping website where you can print out any lake map in the usa) it's ALL worth it. . |

I don't really get to field test to much good stuff other that the occasionally plastic worm, best thing I have got to field test is some kind of bag that you can put plastics in. I would upgrade to trophy membership, only I'd I got to receive the hard back books free, those books are around $30 and they do give some tips that I think have helped me. |

I'm an old fart ! At my age I probably wouldn't get a lifetime's value out of it, so I just renew annually. |

Hey Bass, did you get a chance to try that new line the club sent you before cold weather set in?
