    Story is:   I was fishing on my moms friends boa in the marina  and i was using a 6'6 Pole and 6LB Test Light action and i caught this around 10PM!



    It does not seem big, It was 4Lb's and a foot and a half long , Put up a good 5 min fight, remember im using 6Lb test and a light action

    Nice!! Is that a sting ray or a skate? Can't really tell from the pic...but nice catch. I envy u Florida guys, fishing all year long...I wish I was down south.

    Its a ray, and i cant bass fish were i live in Florida, But im 7 Mins from the intercoastel

    I catch quite a few of them here in NE Fl. They put up a pretty good fight but are pain in the butt when you're fishing for something to take home.

    Well sometimes we go out into the intercostal and we catch some reds, and Flounder.

    im based in new England. mainly fish for stripers and bluefish. i do head out for fluke and sea bass sometimes.

    Those make delicious scallops .

    Thats actually what a lot of scallops are, wings of the stingrays .
