If you have noticed, on the bottom of the main forums page, is an area which tells what members are online at any given time. For example:
There are currently 0 guests(s) online.
    There are 4 of 267481 member(s) online: VT-Bass13Captain Quantummo65MrThrills

Now, first of all, there are only 4 members that are online out of 267,481 thousand?! If that is accurate it is sad indeed! But my concern is that on numerous occasions, I have known for a fact that more members were online than just the one's displayed. I know this because I was in the chat room talking with them myself! So, is that area at the bottom simply inaccurate and can only register a few users at a time? My theory is that if it did register ALL the users online then the screen would have to be enlarged to fit all the names of the users and would in effect "mess up" the forums page. But this is only a hypothesis. Maybe Web Guy Greg can answer this for me? Or ask his IT guys?

I do not know the answer, but I have forwarded the query to the IT end of our online dept. -- Web Guy Greg

Maybe it only registers users in the forums, not the entire site. But I must admit...I have been looking at my name and seen it disappear right in front of me!

Thanks Web Guy Greg! I was just curious about the issue is all. Not like it's a huge deal or anything.

I think it has been! Understandably a low priority.

I haven't visited the site for a long time, and then I started stopping in again a couple weeks ago. There really aren't many people on-line simply based on the number of posts. Everytime I have been online it has showed zero guests and 1 user. Me.
