Ok, I know I've posted a forum topic called "winter fishing" that says I don't have ice gear, but guess what? I just got some. Does anyone fish in the southeastern NYC/long island area? If so I would love to hear about any good places to ice fish. Also any tips about were and how to catch the fish in the lake. Especially HOW DO YOU KNOW WHEN THE ICE IS SAFE? What time of year? Tell me anything. Thanks.
