The best way to NOT get any dvds to preview is to get on here and say you WANT one! I've been trying to get one for almost a year now...even had the club respond to a complaint I made here...still no dvd! Maybe I should tell all the disgruntled members to send their dvds my way, that way I can get one, and maybe the club could sell one. SHEESSSHHHH............. |

The club sent me a DVD and I kept mine and then sent them an email and told them that sending unsolicited products in the mail and expecting the recipient to pay for them is illegal in this state. I never heard back from them and was never charged for it. I have done this with every product they have ever sent me and have never been charged (or if I was it was removed from my online account bill) for anything. Thanks for all the free stuff N.A.F.C.! Keep sending me stuff and I'll keep on keeping it! |

Even if they did send me something that would charge my account its a giftcard mastercard i used to sign up with. They couldnt charge it if they tried because the balance is at 0.00. Maybe if they would warn you maybe some people would be more willing to pay for these things, i know i would! |

Ktuck, you're not obligated to buy any offer the club sends you to preview. The first offer is always accompanied with a prepaid return label, and any additional offers you get, you can print prepaid labels from your account page. Any members who send things back without previewing are just depriving themselves. And often times the product preview is accompanied by a free gift, yours to keep whether you buy or not!(stuff like lures or fishing line) CQ either just got lucky...or they didn't feel the dvd was worth pursuing. Bet they don't send him any of those $50 dollar knives I've been previewing! LOL! Can you imagine how many times the club gets screwed on these previews? No wonder I can't get a stinking dvd! |

Oh i see, yeah i can imagine allot of people getting unknown packages and being like "i don't want to pay for this" and send it back. They should give a better warning. I know if i get anything ill definitely take full advantage of it and use it appropriately. I just dont trust like monthly payments on my credit cards so i normally just use my visa/mastercard gift cards i get for like Christmas because they like to suck you into a bunch of offers and stuff. |

I would suggest doing just that...when I was in the book preview program...I got free gifts with the first five I previewed. These consisted of Trilene in 6, 8, 10, and 12lb. test and a fillet knife. After you preview 6 books, they send you a Rapala digital scale, which I also received. And you'll noticed I said PREVIEWED...not purchased. I bought some of the books, but not all. The only way to get all these goodies is to participate. |

Actually, I did get a knife. Kept it. Got a calender. Kept it. Got a book. Kept it. Got the DVD. Kept it. Recently, the club sent me some decals. Kept them. I must be VERY lucky, or maybe it's the fact that it IS illegal in my state to send out unsolicited mail and expect monetary compensation... |

Q...The NAFC is sending you these items "in good faith". Your two options are either accept them and pay for it or print out the return label and send it back. Surely you can't be that ignorant and think the club just wants you to have everything for free because your such a "swell guy". There's always that one guy who's always trying to get over... |

They are sending them to make money. Plain and simple. And as I stated, it is illegal in this state to ask me to pay for things I did not order or request. With each product they send me I reply to them, verbatim, text from The Attorney General's official website stating that it is illegal for them to ask me to pay for these products and for them to please stop sending me things I did not order yet they continue to send me things anyways! And please do not call me ignorant because I am far from it thank you very much. |

Yes, agreed. They are sending you items to make money. The NAFC is a business. Part of the clubs income is to sell goods to there members. All I'm saying is you should do the right thing and just send it back or keep it and pay for it. |

I sent back the first several items they sent and emailed them to stop sending them and they never replied. So I started keeping them so they would get the message and with each new product they sent, I sent a new email asking them to please stop. No response from them and the items continue to show up to this very day. It was very inconvenient for me to return the parcels they sent me because they will not fit into my mail box which means I have to spend my hard earned money and drive down to the post office that is about 7 miles away and drop it in the box. I did that 3 different times before I got sick of it and started keeping the items. I don't feel im the bad guy here. |

I guess if that's the case, then shame on the NAFC...I received a few of their dvds, and after the 2nd one I decided it wasn't for me, the dvds seem out dated, looks as if they were filmed in the late 80's early 90's...so I cancelled and they never sent me another dvd. Hey Mo, if you want my dvds, let me know, pm your addy and i'll send them out to you. |

Hee hee...got a hornet's nest started with this one! Well, one thing for sure here, the club is consistent. They consistently send CQ freebies while consistently ignoring my requests. Maybe with all this controversy the staff will get me some results( help Web Guy Greg). P.S. Barresi, thanks so much for the offer...I might take you up on that...lets give the club a few weeks to respond. P.S. Captain Quantum, any chance I could get you to send me that knife? LOL!...just kiddin'... |

Well foxman, its not really a war, just a debate. But after repeated requests for the club to enroll me in the dvd program, and them even responding to my complains and STILL no dvd, I'm losing my patience. I think the bigger issue here is the quantity of products they send out that never get paid for. Maybe if the club cut their loses on these programs, a life membership would be more affordable. |
