I got some trinkets and beads once. I traded Manhatten for them! LOL

I got some hooks and some bobber lites that were impossible to see since they
were so old and small. Other than that, nada. Glad I didn't join for the testing
and free give-aways!

Tight lines,

Salty Dan
If at first you don't succeed, maybe you shouldn't try sky diving!

I have been a life member, since 4/5/1989. Have been gone for a couple of years. Due to health problems. After bypas surgery. I am once more, up and around.
This sight, has changed a lot, since I was last here. But, I do remember, some of the names on here. Bassbum, was trying to set up, a get together, just as I was
having problems. Do not know, if that ever happend. I no longer fish alone, as it is to hard for me. My oldest son takes me fishing, when he can. Other than that,
I no longer do much fishing. I will be on here, reading what others are doing though.

Hey Sam Bush, welcome back! I sure do hope your health stays on the good side and your able to get out fishing more often. I was away for about a year also, not because of health issues but because of how the site has been operating (enough said). Most of the folks you used to see regularly are no longer posting but still stop in once in a while. I look forward to seeing your posts!

I know a couple of the guys will remember me. How are you Pete? I guess that I am one of the old timmers as well. I don't know how many changes this site has gone through, but it is still not very fast. Although it ihas been improved some. Does anyone ever hear from Skycop? I haven't heard from him in quite some time. Of course hes hasn't heard from me either. I am going to spend a little more time here. I remember some days when if not for the people on here I would have had a much harder time when life handed me a big crap sandwitch. I still continue to thank God for these people. It was the possibility of finding someone to talk fishing with that brought me here the first time. Now let it be the many friends that I have made over the years.

Good to see you on here nelson. Don't be a stranger and jump in any time. It's the old timer's that keeps this thing going. I wish more of the old timers would return.

Welcom Larry! It certainly has been a long time. I have very fond memories of the times we spent together...It sure would be nice to wet a line together, tell lies and talk about all that has happened over the many years! I have come back also, mostly to help pump some life into this website...I do really miss a lot of the folks that used to be regulars here. I'll look for your posts and keep an eye out for ya in the chat room, but what ever you do don't pay any attention to that wellsley fella!

Hi all of you "Lifers" out there. This is another Larry Nelson AKA" lowwater". I am not on much any more but I lurk now and then.
This is the time of the year that I am riding a "Deere" trying to get 650 acres of spuds in the ground if it's not raining. 55 down 600 to go. Reds and Yukons. I will do my best to post now and then and give a weather report from this far outpost in the Northwest corner of the lower 48. Low land lakes opened today here. I couldn't go out and haven't heard a report. But the opening is allmost allways a zoo.
Tight lines and a full limit to all.

hello to my fellow lifers I'm cyberfish. I live in northern California. In marysville that is about 45 minutes north of sacramento i have many different ways to fish all within 1 hrs. drive ( 3 rivers,4 lakes , many dredger ponds left over from the gold rush days, just to mention a few ways) i consider this area pretty special as i can fish for largemouth, smallmouth, stripers, sturegon, trout(macks, steelhead, rainbow, brook) salmon both chinook and landlocked, shad, catfish, bluegills, crappie and may more. plus I'm only about 2 hrs from S.F. so theres a whole new assortment of fishing to do. I think I am in MY personal fish heaven here tight lines to you all !!!!

Good to see some new old faces. Great to have you guys back. Beware of that turnip fellow. You can trust him with your money but don't let him near your pie.

I have seen a bass attack a minnow and it is so fast you almost can't see it happen. I witnessed the same speed and ravenous feeding when the pie hit the table at the meet where Pete was. And, not a crumb hit the ground. It was the most enjoyable time. Should have had a camera.

I'm back..Been away for a while with in-law health issues and then the end doing what takes just about all free time away and makes a person forget who he is and what he's doing...Long story short..I'm here and it's nice to try to catch up with other members.
In the winter time we now head for Casa Grande AZ with a 5th wheel and stay there for 5 or 6 months and not much fishing in the desert, but it's nice and we like it..Those of you who know of my side line business, it's temporally on hold right now and time will tell if I start it up again. Although I have helped out a couple guys with special orders just to keep it alive for a while.
Nice to be back,
George aka deadlystreamer
