Yes, trout fishing is wide open here in Central CA and we're doing well. As a matter of fact, my wife picked up this fine rainbow yesterday on a dry fly with her 3 wt fly rod. The weather is in the 20's in the morning, warming up to the mid to upper 60's in the afternoon. We have fast and high raging waters during our spring runoff and for most of the summer, which makes any fishing tough. However, we now have low waters and afternoon hatches that bring the trout into a feeding frenzy on most days.
