Just want to put this out there...A friend that I met on another forum made me this saltwater spinner bait. It's not your typical bass spinner. This was made for catching big Stripers and Blues...It kinda has the look/colors of Menhaden (bunker). Thats what Stipers and Blues feed on in my neck of the woods. It's about 5oz..9inches in length with an 8/0 hook. The wire used is thick and will be able to with stand the hit of a big ol' Blue Fish. As a matter of fact, if a Blue Fish can bite through this, then he can keep it, cause I ain't gonna mess with him! lol
P.S. Don't try to copy this...There's a patent on it!

Hot dog Vito...that's a beauty! You should have put a bass spinnerbait beside it for size comparison. Most guys probably have no idea how big that thing is...can't wait to see how the fish respond.

I think it will work on a lot of different saltwater speices..Bull Reds, no problem..The speckled trout..not sure, l know they hit spinners, but keep in mind, this spinner might be too big for them. 8/0 hook might rip through there mouths.

I've caught plenty of snapper blues on smaller spinnerbaits using light gear so I would think a larger version would probably work.
