I have to say the February 2012 issue has got to be one of my favorites for a number of reasons. First of all, the fact that pages 42 and 43 included some fly fishing and even a tying tip were a breath of fresh air for me because I am starting to really get into fly fishing, though not quite to the point of subscribing to a magazine that is specifically fly fishing. Second, Dr. Schramm's section to me is fascinating, which few of those articles have been able to accomplish. I usually get lost in all the jargon and dull points made during this section, but the column this issue was much more readable. Great job on the new issue, NAFC! Keep 'em comin! |

I agree with skewl, this is a great issue. Please continue to include some fly fishing articles in the future. I usually pass on magazines after I read them to my granddaughter or my other regular fishing partner, but this issue is a keeper. Thanks. Happy Fishing!

Thank you, Skewl. Managing Editor Ryan Gilligan worked with author Jeff Knapp on that piece. I think it turned out well, too. Just a heads-up on the March issue. We're working on getting the online content for this issue loaded, but ran into some obstacles. It'll get there. Stay tuned.
