Some of the lakes near here are starting to thaw. Couldn't get me on ice with a team of horses right now. Are the lakes down south open also?

Rain followed by 3-5 50* days. I may get to fish this weekend. It's time to add more fish to the only crappie I caught on Jan 1. Ima take the tie, too.

This was a weird winter. I’m up in Michigan and there are some lakes that didn’t freeze all the way. Can’t say that I ever remember in my life a winter as mild as this one.

I was getting all excited to fish and then it SNOWED!! I usually like snow cause it means it’s cold and then I can go ice fishing. But, I couldn’t really do that this year either. I got cabin fever and the only prescription is spring bass weather

I only got out ice fishing 3 times this year. I've been out in the boat 5 times already this spring. I had the boat out all of 3 times last year...mainly because the bumper on my truck was so rusted that I didn't trust pulling my boat with it. I found a used hitch on craigslist and mounted it to the frame. Haven't fished with any NAFC members in years though.
