Pick a water in NY and tell us about fishing there. (noticed I said water that includes salt water)

I will start with Lake Durant. Lake Durant is a swallow lake in the adirondacks mostly no more than 8' deep.

    Fishing

Fish found within this lake include: largemouth bass, tiger muskellunge, brown bullhead, yellow perch, rock bass and pumpkinseed. The best time to fish on Lake Durant would be early morning and early evening. When fishing for muskies, it would be best to stay along the weedlines. When fishing for largemouth bass, it would be wise to fish near shallow, weedy, and stumpy areas. Most of Lake Durant is good bass habitat.

There is a launch and I have seen bass boats and other good size boats on it, I will not put mine on there. To many rocks, stumps and logs. I use a 12' row boat with a 6hp merc.

I catch some very large fish there every year.
