That's the same thing my buddy said out in the boat. We will remember this day of fishing for ever. I am afraid though my time might be running out soon for this year. Weather turned bad yesterday. Might get out once or twice yet if I plan it right. |

I know what you mean. On Saturday I fished in a wind breaker and I was warm enough, if it hadn't been so windy, I'd have taken the jacket off, then on Sunday, the temp dropped over 20*, when I ran this morning it was 29*. It's far more difficult to convince yourself to set everything up when it's cold. We have several power plant lakes around here that will remain in the upper 50* for most of the year. The disincentive is the cold air, spray, and icey boat ramps. The fish don't seem to mind. |

What a difference a week makes. Last week we caught all those crappies, one afetr another. Yesterday we struggled. We did get 12 that were big enough to be legal, but had alot more empty casts for sure. Oh well a least we got out on the water and it was nice out. |

One last Hurrah ! Yesterday 3 of us went out to Indian lake for the last time this year. It was a beautiful day to be out on the water ! The fish were biting well. We caught in the neighborhood of 150 to 200 crappie and bluegills, keeping 40 of them. The weather report is not loooking good coming up, so tomorrow I will be winterizing the boat. It was a good way to end the season ! Now I guess I will be waiting for the water to turn hard before I get a line wet again. |

7 bass, small fish, but good for this time of year. Saw one gal waterskiing. Yes, she was wearing a wet suit. |

Congrats rodrigo. I don't know what your water temps are there. Ours are in the 40's. I guess if you have a wet suit on, you could be ok for awhile. I just know I had my hand in the water to wet a rag to wash mud off my boat and my hand got numb by the time I was done. Well today I am winterizing the boat. Always a sad day of the year. |

TY FFFisch. I'm a little disappointed. I had planned on fishing a great pond, yesterday. On Wed night I was, finally, trying to get the lights to work on my trailer. Specifically, the right side wasn't working. I tried a new bulb. That didn't do it, so I pulled out all the old wires and ran a new set. After that, none of the lights worked. Throughout the week, the forecast temp high for the day kept falling. It began sunny in the low 50s. By Thursday night the forecast had a high of 44, sunny with winds gusting 15-20 mph. The low was going to be 27. The drive one way was 4 hours, and I was going to take my son and my nephew. With the trailer, the temp, the wind and the drive I decided to stay home. If it had been in the 60s like it had been for the first half of the week, we would have boated over 100 fish. Hopefully, we'll get some warm weekends in Dec and I'll go fish a power plant lake, but I still gotta get those lights working. |

Good luck with those lights rodrigo, I know how frustrating that can be. I had that this spring. Just changed the pigtail and it all worked. I got lucky I guess. Mo65. yep I will be ice fishing as soon as it gets safe enough. |

Im hoping for ice thick enough to go onto, but its so infrequent, I dont even have any ive fishing gear. We do have a power plant lake which cools down to the mid fifties during the coldest winters. |

Well the nice weather lured us back out on the lake yesterday. We boated 100 plus crappie and kept 31 of them. We had another 15 - 20 of them that were right at 9 inches that although would have been legal fish, we threw them back, just too close for comfort. |

WTG fffisch. Leave it to you to keep the season going. You ought to have the tie and take some pic's. |
