Has anybody tried any of the fish cleaning videos that are out there? I have always been gutting and steaking out my fish, I filet the easier ones, but I am thinking about buying an electric knife and maybe one of the videos that give some secrets, especially for Northern or Walleye. I have seen one called unzip your fish, and a couple home made ones on Ebay. I only clean the ones that I will eat, and usually C&R. The wife would like me to keep a few more this year to eat while camping and such.
Any suggestions?
Thanks, Jeff |

I usually just catch my fish, trout, bass, pike, whatever, and throw them on the shore for fun... JUST KIDDING! I practice catch and release! Ha ha sorry! But anyways, there is "more than one way to skin a cat" or in this case a fish, but if you've been doing it this long chances are they won't be able to teach you much that you don't already know. But I could be wrong. |

Try YouTube...there's a whole bunch of videos on how to fillet fish...all types of fish. And best of all its free to watch. So before investing in some hard earned money into a dvd..that might not suite your needs or teach you something new, give YouTube a try. |
