    hello all..
new here on this forum and hope to contribute once in a while.
moved back to Michigan after a long time away from here in the warmer places.. the deep south. I miss the redfish and sea trout but do not miss the heat.

was looking forward to some ice fishing but there was not enough ice this winter in SW michigan.
so now I am waiting for the spring sucker runs to kick off the season.
got a 24ft big lake boat and the salmon had better watch out. retired with plenty of time.

last outing was at the allegan dam last month on the kalamazoo river and my cuz picked up a very nice steelhead.
we are shopping now for a 16 to 17 ft aluminum boat to use on the rivers and lakes.
