Crawford county does not stock trout.  I have never had this feeling before.  In the first half an hour of fishing I caught 20 browns between 12 and 15 inches.  All of them were fat and healthy.

The waterway was seriously degraded from cows and farming.  I dislike Habitat Improvement as a general rule but this stretch could seriously use it.  It is also PUBLIC Fishing Water.

None of the runs were deep and most of them were very silty.   If there was any depth at all in a run there was a trout.  The bottom was light colored and so were the trout.  I literally walked by holes because I knew there would be medium sized trout in them and I am a big trout junky.

This stretch could use some improvement and some harvest of trout.  I fished the stretch for 3 hours and my total was 71 browns.  All between 12 and 16 inches.  I rolled one really large fish at the beginning of my outing at the Kickapoo.

Something smells fishy... I've heard of guys lieing about the size of the fish they catch, but never saw someone extradite the amount they've caught.  Let alone post it in a hundred forums.

71 trout sounds pretty extreme, even for you.

My friend Andy fly fished a stretch in crawford county on Saturday and caught between 75-100 trout.
If you know what you are doing and put your time in to scouting in the off season and NOT be an internet
angler it will go a long way to improving your numbers.

You have been reported to the moderators here for called me a liar and being a terrible speller.

    Some stocking is done...
not crazy scale like the rest of the counties in the area.
CRA is calling me a liar because he is a guide in the area and if his clients see
what is possible for trout they won't be satisfied with mediocre

    that is odd...

It was Halls Branch my buddy had 75-100 fish day.

Is really a shame about the brookies all having Gill Lice in that stream.

I've read some of your posts and blogs on this subject on other websites and agree with you that we as fishermen have to do our part to make sure that we don't spread this parisite to non infected streams by cleaning our equipment before and after we enter a stream. in looking around/reserching it looks like other states have the same problem. hoefully they can figure out how to control/kill the little bugger

oh len... don't be so defensive.

The numbers are against you, to catch 71 trout, you need to average 23 trout an hour. Is it possible- yes.  Probable, no.  One has to factor in your bad knee, lure changes, snag ups, hole approach strategy, fish fights, awkward hook removals and obsticals.  Even if you are using a PK Spoon, I would suspect that you are fudging your numbers.

    "the dnr doesn't do stocking"
of all the trout that we kept out of Crow Creek last year, 5 of them were native. We caught 1 tiger and 5 rainbows

of all the trout we kept on Plum 15 of them were native and we caught 3 tiger

am I worried about you posting locations with inflamed numbers so my "customers are going to notice mediocre"... no, in fact every one I've fished with in the last year hasn't even heard of you.- big surprise I'm sure.

Sorry to all you good anglers on here that you must endure this nonsense.

This guy has done the exact same thing on other sites.

oh Len, don't blur the facts that the numbers are STILL against you!

in one paragraph you claim 20 trout in half an hour.  That still leaves 1 fish in just a little over a minute, again not compensating for hook removals, fish fights, snag ups, and obsticals.  Even if you used a PK I would still say you are fudging.

"he's done this in other sites"

Len don't be hatin because I don't drink the kool aid.  When you copy and paste the same stories in 20 forums, you're bound to generate some attention.

I am retired...I don't wear a watch. Could it it been a little more than 3 hours...yes easily.
What I do know with 100 percent certainty that CRA follows me from site to site and does this same
nonsense and I am considering getting a restraining order. My wife says I should be afraid of him.

This stalking all began about 2 years ago when CRA used a photo on his site that wasn't his. Would you
care to elaborate about that photo?

Stalking?? Really Len? Time to turn off the "stream of tears".  When you flood 20 fishing forums, your subject yourself to criticism.
