I know grayling are supose to be exstinct from michigan but maybe their is someone who caught one lately (past 10 years) or knows someone who caught one and where they caught one?

I read somewhere there are people going to plant some in a upper peninsula stream the only setback they have ran into is the water temp.s. There are grayling in some areas you can fish for I'm not sure where but I believe Canada or Alaska.

Jedi Salmon Slayer catches them in Alaska. I checked out a website for fly-fishing in Poland and they can be caught on the San River system

a little over a decade ago michigan tried to plant a few in a couple of streams to see if they could be re-interdused. if i remember right, what plants they did survived a couple of years and then just disappeared.

at one time there was a list of what streams--most in the U.P. and i think only 5 streams where tried--were planted and how many or for how many years were tried
