I boated about half the fish I hooked today. I began to think someone went through my tackle box and nipped all the points off of my hooks.

I think we all have days like that.
Ashes to ashes, dust to dust, if it wasn't for my super smooth carbon drag, my 30 year old Trilene would bust!

I remember my only trip hiking down into Beartraps Canyon on the Madison. Did it with a friend I had met the evening before (he invited me as his wife didn't like him to go places like that alone). No Idea of how many fish we hooked, I do remember having ten in a row throw the hook.
Then there was the day when others were catching trout and I couldn't set a hook, figured out later that I was probobly trying to get hookups on crawdads--hard to do.

Can truly relate to that. Had days where I would jerk after a bite on artificial [tube jigs] or set the hook with my bobber under water and hooked nothing.
