When I asked were to place it  they said it would be best if placed near the winch were you will see it when launching and loading the boat .  The bottom half goes on the trailer  the top half goes on the boat.

Were they supposed to give me that decal when I picked up my tag or my boat? Got my license at the same time...

I got a decal when I was loading up my boat to go home and the folks at the ramp inspected my boat and placed a decal on my trailer by the winch. The decal was dated. Do I need a new one every year? I live in Iowa and fish mostly in Minnesota (Leech, Vermillion and Gull).

Tuesday may 29 20012 OK i just got off the phone  with two different  reps and both told me NO Not at this time, the law was repealed about 3 weaks ago there are still laws in place on invasive species  so it don't hurt to have the decal as a reminder .   They are working on something but unsure what at the moment .
