im new to snook redfish and tarpon fishing and would like any advice you guys could give me. i lost my first tarpon last weekend 20-30 lbs and my first snook about a pound. what line should i use for the majority of inshore fish and what lures. i fish around tampa and mainly fish the hillsborough river, honeymoon island, and sunshine skyway pier when i go saltwater fishing.so far ive been using big jerkbaits and anything that represents baitfish. im a bass fisherman so please help, im trying to get one of those 3 fish this weekend.
