I have a cousin that moved in next door. He recently went blind. I was woundering if there are lures or bobbers, that will help him fish? He has some sight, but can't make out shapes a few feet ahead of him. I have found a bell to put on the tip of the rod, I hope that will work for him.

If he knows were to cast he can easily feel the fish hit the lure or bait then set the hook . If he fishes live bait they make reals with clickers  mostly bait casters or a bell or a siren type strike indicator will give him a clue . Other wise just have the line run over your index finger .
Take a kid fishing , If the fish aint biting entertain them. Photobucket
