So I want to get into pike fishing, But I don't own a boat or anything. I was wondering how hard it is to catch pike from shore. if you can what are the methods to do it?

For many years I didn't own a boat and yet I caught pike. First thing I would do is get the right equipment. For pike I would go with no less then 10lb test line. Then use a steel leader. It would help if we new what state and what waters you plan to fish. But pike will hit almost anything when they are hungry. Feel free to ask what ever questions you might have.
