Got back from our last fishing and camping trip of the year. Spent the weekend in the Adirondack's at eighth Lake. Only caught two fish one on seventh lake and the other on eighth lake. We did get a bonus when we went into town the day it rained. Enjoy the pic's.

Today I winterised the camper. My last camping trip for the year ended yesterday. It was a hunting trip to the Adirondack Mts. The first night I ran out of gas in one tank and when I switched it over to the second it didn't work. Hmm 20 degrees and no heat. I woke up and took the tanks off to go to town to get them filled, and the tank I switched over to was full. Put it on the side that ran out and it worked. Cooked up some oatmeal and off to the woods I went. I did see a small 8pter but no shot. That afternoon two buddies showed up. Sunday morning up at 6am bacon and eggs and we're off to the woods just after 7am. Before 7:30 I see a deer it's a buck the safety goes off it comes to my shoulder the cross hairs are behind his shoulders. POW!!! It was a good hold. The smoke from the muzzleloader clears the deer is gone. I walk over to where the deer stood no hair no blood. I search in the direction the buck was heading not 30 yards away there he lays.
