Ladis and Gents, Sorry, it has been a while since being on the forums. It has been a wild and crazy few months. I have landed in the area of never ending sand, and will be here for quit some time. With no chance of fishing, I have turned the spare time into making trolling lures(wedding rings). |

I'll be there in a bit myself. Leave for the Army in 2 months! Airborne Combat Engineer. Can't wait to mess up some insurgents and Taliban S.O.B.'s! |

Thanks everyone, I am now a Vetren and proud of my 14 years of service to the worlds finest Navy. Troutinator(Scott), while on termainal leave from the Navy, this was the only job that accepted. I took the job as a GSE Mechanic, supporting the Army. I'll be home on some much needed R/R and plan to fish with my boys a few times before having to come back. I plan to start taking requests on the wedding rings in November. Going to try and sell some to make back the funds used to get the stuff sent out. Trying out different color combos than what Mac offers. So, hopefully I will see if they do work. |

Jeremy, where are you calling home now? BTW, you could be spending your spare time tying flies for fly fishing. I'm just saying. I'll be heading to Key West on detachment next month and between working on those F/A-18E/F Super Hornets, fly fishing for tarpon, cudas and snappers, I'll be finding time to tie lots of flies for this winter. The fly fishing on the Kings River is phenomenal during the winter months. However, I do use wedding rings for trolling as well. |

Scott, Its easier to do the wedding rings out here. Less mess and can work with the less room I have in my room. More beads have been ordered, hooks and line are on their way. Using dakota blades instead. Something different i guess. |
