Dropshot is good for deep, clear water. Other than that, i'd never fish it..but thats just me.

Buzzbait and spinner baits are not really in the same category. Buzzbait is a surface bait usually works best in low light conditions. Around dusk and dawn. Fish them at weed edges or through light lily pads and I promise you, it will become a quick favorite to fish.

Spinner baits you can burn to the surface to create a "wake bait". But if its out of the water, you're going too fast and defeating the purpose of the bait.

I like the drop shots too. I havent fished them in a while.

If you do fish those drop shots you wanna get this rubberbad like line (dont know what the offical name is) to attach your weight. I've seen them at some local bait shops. Work very good

Dropshots have a reputation as deep clear water bait, but I think that's far from a fair assessment. I have found through my own experience and from watching the pros, that if you adjust your rigging and the baits you use, dropshots can catch them anytime the bass are finicky, or suspended off the bottom.
I swear, it was this big (---------------------------------------)

I think that's the Recoil Rig by Secret Weapon Lures.
